Visit the Four Fillies Farm website and you may wonder whether unicorns are bred in the heart of Lexington… but this has less to do with Darwinian offshoots than with the farm owner, whom I found to be a bit of a dingbat… Conveniently located off Route 2, the barn is nice in the summer. Comes winter, you may wish there was an indoor arena. The instructors are pleasant. The waiver you'll have to sign is essentially equivalent to a license to kill you or your children; unfortunately, most barns have them and there is not much you can do but sign with your fingers crossed. Nice but overloaded 8/30/2007

I was going to start riding here. Everyone including the riders and teachers were very kind and inviting. The problem is, they have a waiting list, and I don't know about other people, but i don't wan tot have to wait two or three weeks to start regular lessons. Pros: Nice property, nice people, nice horses, and it is a family-friendly atmosphere. Cons: There is a lengthy waiting list. more
