Their catfish is amazing!! no fishy smell or taste, like catfish you would get elsewhere. The flour they fry their seafood in is homemade by the owner and sometimes when you ask he gives you free flour to take home. Fresh shrimp and oysters as well. The gulf jumbo shrimp is very tasty. I also tried his boiled shrimp and jumbo lump crabmeat, pricey but well worth the money. The holiday season always include 10 pounds of boiled shrimp from Fountainview Fish Market. If you have not tried this place, you dont know what you are missing! more

Tasty & Cheap Lunch 1/19/2010

I had a shrimp sandwich, fries and a drink for about $5. The shrimp were large, fresh and perfectly cook, served on a fresh bun with sauce and an onion ring. I will definitely come back for lunch and next time I need seafood for home. Pros: Very fresh, quick, affordable Cons: Dining in a fish market does present an expected odor more

Good Red Snapper 8/29/2008

I noticed this fish market on my way way home from work and decided to stop by and investigate. I ended up going home with a whole red snapper. It was very fresh and came out delicious at a reasonable price. I will probably go back and pick up more. The only complaint I have is that they didn't have large variety of fish. I guess the demand is only so high and the store is pretty small. Pros: Good Red Snapper, Seems clean, people are friendly Cons: Small Selection more

Concerned about the baby seals being slaughtered 3/30/2008
