Professional service at its best! 2/2/2011

We woke up one (Sunday) morning to the unpleasant surprise of our gas furnace not working. We called Foster Plumbing & Heating and within 5 minutes our call had been dispatched to the on-call technician who took the time to troubleshoot our problem over the phone before scheduling an appt. When we realized that it was a system problem, the technician squeezed us into his morning schedule and was at our house within 2 hours. The technician was extremely professional and respectful and explained everything in layman's terms so I knew what needed to be repaired/replaced. Since the technician did not have the necessary parts on hand, he had to come back out the next day to finish the job. However, instead of literally leaving us in the cold, he was able to apply a quick fix to our furnace to get us through the day/night. This saved us from having to pack up and leave our house for the night. The technician was back the very next morning and we were back up and running in no time. We were very pleased with our experience and highly recommend Foster Plumbing & Heating to anyone looking for a company they can trust. more

Excellent service 1/30/2010

Foster Plumbing encourages all employees to research solutions when challenged by an unfamilar problem. They are willing to give recommendations over the phone to solve a problem before sending out a work crew. Always looking out for the customer and trying to resolve the problem quickly and professionally. All emplorers are courteous, well mannered and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. more

Prompt response time, solved problem 1/27/2010

From the initial call to meeting the friendly service tech at my house, Foster was professional and courteous throughout. The repairs were swift and the tech was on his way, which meant minimal impact in my schedule. After the tech left, Foster followed up by phone, before sending a bill, to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Their rates and time billed seemed very fair. more

I highly recommend Foster Plumbing & Heating. We had a very positive experience with them over Christmas break when we had a problem with our heating and air. It was the perfect storm: about 20 degrees and we had family in town for the holidays. We needed someone to come out right away, and Foster's response was very timely. The technician was on site within an hour, and very savvy in terms of diagnosing the problem, which he resolved within an hour. Their rate was very competitive and fair. Foster Plumbing & Heating also followed up with a return call, which I thought was very mindful. They are a nice organization to work with in that they offer a family business type of environment. One of select few in Richmond who are concerned with quality. 1/19/2010

I initially started using Foster Plumbing & Heating about 2 years ago because of their reputation and referrals from people who had done business with them. Also, they are conveniently located not far from my own home as well as some rental properties that I own. Strategically, I knew that if I had problems at the properties, Foster's would be able to attend to them. I did have a few emergencies and they were there quickly to take care of things. The feedback from my tenants was extremely positive: They said that the technicians were very courteous and were timely in getting the job done. That is good for my tenants and it is good for me. Also, as a landlord, I appreciate the ease of being able to set up an HVAC service plan where Foster's come regularly every 6 months. They provide a reminder call and are proactive about getting in touch with me about the service, which is helpful to me, having 3 different properties. Foster Plumbing & Heating is one of the select few in Richmond that is concerned with quality. They are also concerned with cost, but are very focused on making sure that what they do will last.
