The galleries at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art include pieces of art from the museum's collection and traveling exhibits from around the world. Some of the traveling exhibits include displays that do not reach many large famous museums in the United States. The museum has over 1,300 pieces of 19th and 20th century art. The museum also has a special education gallery for children to integrate special activities that enhance the appreciation the art on display. The Museum Shop brings in a large supply of art related gifts for the holidays. Museum hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. You can see exhibits free every Wednesday and on the first Sunday of every month. Parking at the rear of the museum is free.
