Satisfied Customer 8/13/2010

I think this is one of the few places left that you can still see God at work in America today. I try to shop there as much as possible because not only do you get treated well but they go out of there way too fix any problems that you might have even if it is not there responsibility. (example) I purchased a beautiful bedsweet over 1 year ago. I recently had a problem with its rails, went and spoke with them to see if I could buy a replacement but left with a new rail that same day. NO COST TO ME! The nice young man said that he would try to get a warranty replacement for the rails and just wanted to keep the customer satisfied. Well it worked! Try to get that kind of care at a "BIG" furniture company! Thanks Fort Lauderdale keep up the good work! more

bashment 4/29/2010

I went to faith farm when i was down and out and they really and truly helped me out...\r ok its a little unkept but understand a lot of this goes to charity. instead of bashing the cleanliness of the place why not get a group together and offer to help clean it up....!!! this place does a lot for charity, why bad mouth something which initially is set out for good???? people never really look at the good that other's do but always look to see the negative when they cant do any better themselves... more

HYPOCRITES 7/16/2009

THIS PALCE IS FULL OF HYPOCRITE DIRECTORS THEY STEAL FROM THE THINGS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SOLD TO HELP THE MINISTRY THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING OUT FOR THEMSELVES. AND THEY DONT TEACH THE BIBLE VERY WELL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOTHING BUT EX DRUGIES. ALL THEY WANT IS FREE LABOR Pros: NONE Cons: THE DIRECTORS more

Slavery 5/16/2009

From the inside out, let me just say that this place takes in drug/alcohol abusers and puts them to work driving trucks, picking up donations, minding the store, etc etc. The facilities are run down and they give the "inmates" 7 dollars a week which begs the question, where does the money go? Also, there is little if any thought towards true rehabilitation, i.e. job placement, battling temptations. It is all Christian centered and even that is very skewed towards fanatical right-wing propoganda. It's nothing short of a Christian jail that preys on people with serious substance abuse problems. The success rate of those that leave is dismal at best. Pros: Cheap merchandise Cons: Contributing to a "questionable" establishment more

Give it a shot! 10/22/2007

You never know the deals you can find here! I got a 6 piece bedroom set for only $110.00 (Drexel Heritage) 3 years ago and it still looks great!! It might be a little dirty but all you need is a little imagination and some cleaning stuff and you will be great!!! The best part is everyone there really wants to help you! Great deals for a great cause!! more

A place like no other 8/22/2007

I was at faith farm over 10 years ago. I needed help and they gave it to me. When you're own life isn't working because you just can't manage yourself due to addiction, you need a new way to live. This is what faith farm offers. They offer spiritual food. Anyone who goes to faith farm should never complain about it because their own life was a mess to get them there in the first place. I never finished the program. I was about 28 years old, and my life showed it. I was able to get a college degree after I left and start a successful business; but all the money I was making enabled my addition and continued my suffering for many years. I wish this on no one. I'm returning to faith farm and completing the program now at age 41 because it's not about experiencing pain any longer, it's about saving my life. I am going to die prematurely if I don't... Pros: Spiritual food Cons: The pain from trying not to listen to your addition that keeps pulling you away. more

Great Rehab Program, Great People! 7/9/2007

Wow what a place. It's free of charge and you can stay there for around 8 months, in south Florida! There's around 300 people there and so I don't think one employee leaving is gonna make that much of a difference. I had a real problem, and I just wasn't gonna make the changes on my own. With all the support from everyone and the amount of time they gave me, I got control of my addiction and I'm standing on my own two feet now. Thank You Jesus! Pros: Lots of room when you have to get away by yourself Cons: It free so you got to work around the place more

Full of morons 5/19/2007

I would like to say that Faith Farm ministries is on a downward spiral. It was run the right way. There board of directors are a bunch of morons. They are nobodies. Most of them have little more than a highschool education. They treat people with little respect. They have no care for what is right. They just care about there personal agendas. This is a dangerouse place. They act like (as another personin their review stated) a cult. These people fit every definition of cultish behaviours. Pros: there aren't any pros Cons: They are sick people more

Good Cause, Good Service 5/6/2007

Wow, we just went & found an amazing desk that they gave us for an amazing price & they helped us load it!!! The people there are very friendly & we are thankful for all the hard work they are doing. Its a great place to contribute or find great deals! Thank you more

This place saved my life. What a great experience. I now have a successful job, a beautiful wife, and a precious daughter. Before this program I was almost dead; my life was shot. 4/11/2007

This is a great Christ centered program. If you believe in the resurrection healing powers of Christ you will be saved. Pros: Great Christ Centered program Cons: A full year of commitment to do it right. more

Stinks 2/23/2007

This place was crazy. They are like a cult. Very weird people. They have no personality. It used to be great when a man named I think .... David ran it. It has gone down hill fast. When I asked the rude guy who ran the place now he said "Mike". Whoever that is. Pros: Great if you enjoy cultish behaviours. Cons: Bad laeadership. more

Donate To A Good Cause! 9/13/2005

Faith Farm Thrift Store will allow you to donate furniture used or new as well as clothing and other items. They will schedule a pick up for large donations such as office furniture or home furniture. The donation is made to the less fortunate in the area so think about who you are donating to and not the way the thrift store looks. Maybe they should keep it nicer, but it is all about the cause! more

very dirty 9/5/2005

This place looks filthy and I would definetly not want to buy clothing or funiture because I wouldnt trust the cleaniness of the merchandise. This place is a mess and it's difficult to walk around with all stuff lying around all over the place. I'm sure you could find some cool stuff here IF you have patience to look through it all, but honestly I wouldnt waste my time b/c it's an awful environment. The money does do to fund a good cause so that is a plus if you would like to help someone out. more

disorangized... 6/15/2005

I think this place appeared dirty and disorangized, merchandise was everywhere and it was very hard to find what you were looking for. it has 2 stories and the elevator to the second floor looked as though it was about to break! the stairs weren't much better either...creepy place to shop. more
