I rented from Paula Dunbar at the Forrester for 12 months. The tile floor was uneven and the grout flaked up and cut my son's feet. The dishwasher and thermostat repeatedly broke, and there were sink spots beneath the carpet. I referred 3 of my friends to the complex, and Ms. Dunbar refused to credit my family the $50 referral incentive per person that had been promised. We recently moved out and left the place immaculate. I steam cleaned the carpet and cleaned every conceivable surface. We left one box of unopened chicken nuggets in the freezer, and because of this box Ms. Dunbar won't to return my $250 deposit. She has avoided my attempts to contact her since we left, and refuses to confirm my rental history with other complexes because she doesn't think that we ""deserve credit"" for living there. In 12 months my rent was late only once by one day. She charged me double the late fee defined in the lease and I paid without complaint, hardly deserving of such bad business.
