I have used Forest Hills Service Center for several years. Jamie and his staff have done work for me on three different cars. Jamie is the most honest, hard working mechanic I have ever met. He has an unusual ability to explain a mechanical problem to a novice. His prices are very reasonable. Perhaps the best part of his service is that he often offers alternatives to solving a problem. He may suggest both a short term solution and a long term solution and will explain what the costs will be in either case. If the car is older and of lower value and he thinks that a certain type of repair is not worth the money based on the value of the car he will tell you this even though this may result in less revenue for him. I just moved to this area and had some car trouble. I took my car to another mechanic first and wasn't happy with the job they did. I brought it to Forest Hills Service Center next based on a review from Click and Clack's website. I was very happy with the results. Mr. Lloyd (owner and mechanic) walked me through the necessary repairs and showed me the car parts that needed repair. The work was done very quickly (same day) even though I didn't have an appointment. The service is excellent here and they treated me with respect. more
