I have been coming to Foreign Accents for just about the life of my car (going on 20). I have always been treated with respect and a smile. It does cost more to have a foreign car worked on, but Foreign Accents does not charge as much as other auto-repair shops in Greensboro and they do not make me put a sign with their name on it to get service that they would give anyway. I have been helped so much over the years. It is, I think, a 38 yr. old ""Family-owned Business and make all their customers feel like part of that ""family"". I would never recommend anyone else. Their new showroom is beautiful and always so clean. more

Everyone from the folks 9/15/2014

Everyone from the folks at the counter to the mechanics is always eager and genuinely happy to help. When you walk in you get this sense of family. There are some talented mechanics there and I know most have been there for 10-15 years. It’s great to find honest people to work with. more

Initially, I took my car 9/4/2014

Initially, I took my car (a 2005 Jaguar Stype) in and they were unable to tell me why my low coolant light was on, because it was a little low on coolant and the light would not go on for them. They did not charge me for that visit. When the light went back on and it was low again in 2 weeks, they checked it out thoroughly and fixed three small leaks for a small diagnostic charge and the parts and labor for the repairs needed. I thank them for that. They could have charged for the first visit as well and did not. The car is driving fine now. more

This third time to correct charging system issues. Still not functioning properly. Do not feel it mechanic's failure at all as Chris Bechard is awesome with older VWs. Just very frustrated considering the $s spent to date. The issue is exacerbated considering the vehicle is very old and distance between my garage and Greensboro / Foreign Accents location. I love the culture at this shop in addition to the people there.\r more

No foreign vehicle 7/21/2014

No foreign vehicle this trip but my good ol' Ford F-150 was running rough on a couple of occasions and each time I stopped in they were very helpful in making suggestions to avoid any unnecessary costly repairs. Each time the tips proved correct and I was able to solve the problem on my own. But as machines often do it did reach a point where the ideas ran out and service was needed. It was diagnosed properly, repaired to my satisfaction and all while I waited after being dropped off for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Foreign Accents is my choice for my Ford, Chevrolet and Volvo! more

Took my 2014 Subaru Forester in for its 20K service while I waited. The service was done very efficiently and was less expensive than I had feared. The waiting area was convenient and clean. I took advantage of the Wi-Fi and was able to get some work done. Thankfully, there is no TV. more

  • Randy and Scott Beeninga opened Foreign Accents in 1976, but their love of cars can be traced back to when they were kids. Ask them about their first car purchase a $25 Volkswagen Beetle they pushed two miles back to their house when they were 13 and 11. This love is still obvious in everything that goes on at Foreign Accents.
