I have taken 2 classes at Forbeadin' which have given me the basic tools to make my own jewelry. Three of my girlfriends and I got together for an evening class and had a blast while creating something fabulous to wear. I have even restrung some of my Grandmother's old necklaces and reused some of the broken jewelry and single beads I've been stashing for years. I'm all for mom and pop shops, which this seems to be....however, not only is the selection particularly limited, the prices are off the charts. I've been to every other bead place in San Francisco and compared prices..this place is the highest. Additionally, they offer lots of synthetic semi precious stones priced the same as real semi precious you can get elsewhere. more
