TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Foothill Pediatrics, for some reason, chose to enter into a dispute with our family over payment of our first bill from them, two days after we had received it. My wife tried to deal with them but wound up writing a letter to the Union Democrat complaining about their treatment of us.\r

Now they have sent a bill backdating a "bad debt charge" to two months BEFORE we received our first bill from Foothill Pediatrics. They did not ask for a copay at the time of service (we had a PPO), and at the time of this new "bad debt" charge, we had received no bill from them whatsoever.\r

They also told us that we could not take our children to them again, except in the case of a medical emergency. We were perfectly friendly when we used their clinic, but we have never been treated like this by any doctor - and it seems particularly bad practice for a pediatrician.\r
