Excellent service! Did not find source of check engine light, but chose not to do a smoke test once it was found there was no engine damage potential. Just cleared the trouble code. Will return if it re-occurs. Replaced a blown 10 amp fuse at no charge, oil change, and overall car inspection. more

repeat brake work 10/23/2011

HAD BRAKE WORK DONE 5/10, 18 MO WARRANTY. REARS PADS HAD 4MM LEFT THEN. AFTER 7K MILES METAL TO METAL. 16 YR OLD DRIVER HEARD FUNNY NOISES, TO LATE TO SAVE ROTORS. $430 LATER, I HAVE REAR BRAKES. WORKER SAID USUALLY PADS LAST 3K MILES FOR 1MM SO THAT WOULD OF BEEN 12K MILES. WHEN BRAKES WORKED ON IN 5/10, NO RECOMMENDATIONS FOR NEW PADS OR TO GET CHECKED AFTER A CERTAIN TIME. I FEEL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I THINK THEY MISCALCULATED PAD WIDTH. I FEEL I SHOULD OF GOT A DISCOUNT ON LABOR, SINCE THEY HAD THE CAR APART IN 5/10 AND COULD OF REPLACED PADS THEN. NO WARRANTY ON PADS, I KNOW THAT 4MM SHOULD OF LASTED LONGER, BUT WAS IT REALLY 4MM? WHEN METAL ON METAL I TOOK IT BACK TO FOOTHILL BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT BEING WITHIN WARRANTY THEY WOULD OF GIVEN ME MORE CONSIDERATION. I THINK THEY DID GIVE ME A SLIGHT DISCOUNT ON PARTS. more
