Being a Filipino student at UVA, this place was amazing for finding some obscure items that are needed for some Filipino dishes. Aside from that they have just about everything else, fresh vegetables and meats. Its just fun to go in there and browse around. The prices are fair as well, so I would highly recommend checking it out or looking for some ethnic items. more

Great specialty food 8/8/2005

This gourmet grocery store has some very specialized and interesting foods. I shop here only for specialized and hard to find items because it is very expensive. There is also a deli/fresh food area that carries some of the highest quality meats/cheeses/prepared foods in the area. The staff is very courteous and there are rarely ever long check out lines. more
