Most of our rentals come from the closest
Foodland grocery store to our house. By the time Saturday morning comes around neither of us want to take the time to actually put on clothes and go out to Blockbuster or that other big chain (it's 2:10 am and I can't sleep - so my memory is worse than usual).
Foodland keeps a great stock of both DVDs and VHS on hand. The cashiers there know us so well that they if we pick one up and bring it to the counter, they may possibly say to us, "It's not what you think it's going to be and I don't really think you are going to like it".
I go for gorey, scary, blood/guts type movies, while my S/O likes action packed ones. We both agree on most romantic comedies but psycho-thrillers are our favorites. When I was having a very sick day, my S/O went to rent Hostel for me and the person at the counter was totally shocked and said, "This is NOT the kind of movie you rent - in fact no one has ever rented it before"! He was in fact, very right, I tried to watch it, but it was way over the top (and I love the Saw movies)!
Please note that I am only rating this store for the movie selection. The deli is good, the produce is okay, the dairy is good, the bakery is good, but the rest of the store is a little lacking in choice. All of the employees are terrific though!
