AWESOME ! 5/5/2009

I really enjoy coming here because of the amazing wines and specials. The chefs use alot of local and organic produce and the menu changes seasonally which is so great. My favorite is the cheese platters and the meatloaf is to die for !! Even my 3 year old asks for it !! more

Each time we are in Atlanta, my husband and I always have brunch or dinner at ""Food 101"". The best place in town for sure! Not only the atmosphere is relaxing and elegant but the food is to die for. I love to order ""eggs benedict filled with crab meat"". My husband likes their juicy hamburgers and pork chops because each time they are cook to perfection. To compliment these great dishes they have the best wine selections found outside of my home in France. In addition, the employees are courteous and professional. If you have not tried this restaurant yet, be sure that you do real soon. Pros: best hors-d'oeuvres in town more

Food 101 what more do you need? 5/4/2009

An absolute culinary experience for the palate!I love thi s place. I can not go there enough to try all thats on the menu.\r \r My wife loves the Arugula salad and the shrimp and grits!\r Myself I go for the Allen brothers strip steak!!!!\r I always add some Blue cheese with that and I'm golden!\r \r Love theis place!!!! Fabulous Experience 5/4/2009

Great service, great food at a great price. When we asked our waiter how the chef cooked an entree, the chef himself came to the table and told us exactly how he prepared our meal, it was a great touch to our already fabulous meal. Great take out for Chastain nights, the table next to you will be jealous of your awesome spread from Food 101. more

Food 101: Great for lunch, drinks, dinner or event!! 5/4/2009

Food 101 on Roswell Road has exceeded my expectations. I've gone to Food 101 for after work drinks, for dinner out with the girls, and have had happy hour meetings there. This past fall, I held an Art & Appetizers event in the restaurant and it went flawlessly--my clients loved the food, the severs took care of everything quietly, and the ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. While we were setting the event up, Steve realized that I hadn't eaten lunch and gave me THE BEST BURGER IN TOWN. I highly recommend Food 101 on Roswell for any event be it a date, a girls night out, couples dinner, or a party event. Thanks so much Steve!! Great Experience 5/4/2009

This evening I took a few business clients to dinner at Food 101 located off of Roswell Road. The menu looked impressive on line but, was even better in person! I tried the mussels and the sweet potato ravioli and it was fantastic! If your looking to impress, Food 101 is a great option. Pros: Food and Service - Excellent more

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants- we spent valentine's at Food 101 and I had a birthday party here in their private dining room-\r \r This restaurant is casual, but a fantastic menu with lots of different items to choose from. One of my personal favorites is the seared ahi tuna- YUM!\r Highly recommend Food 101 to anyone looking for a great spot in the north buckhead/sandy springs area! Great Southern Food 12/19/2007

We really enjoyed our recent dinner here. The menu has a great selection of southern favorites. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great - lots of exposed brick. pleasantly surprised 8/24/2006

I am a regular of the Food 101 in Morningside and wanted to give their other location a try. The ambiance is different with more dark woods and more of a classic feel to it. The had live music and a busy Satruday night crowd, different then the crowd in Morningside. I had the Filet and my husband had the fried chicken, they both were excellent. Service was great and parking was easy. I now can recommend both locations. Pros: service and food Cons: a little noisy more

The food is very good here. Nothing spectacular but it is a great place to get a nice salad and piece of fish. A very good idea for a week night date. The wine list also has some great selections although I would be happier with a few less expensive white wines by the glass not just chardonnay. There are some great reds for $6 which I loved. more

The food at Food 101 was superb, from the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert. The rack of lamb was perfect, and the crab/shrimp cakes were melt in your mouth delicious. Service was atentive and knowledgeable. Pros: great entrees, romantic setting more

Ask for Nancy! 7/3/2002

Our server, Nancy, knew the menu and specials by heart. She was upbeat, enthusiastic, yet not flirty with my date. The HUGE portion of Yankee Pot Roast was a delight (first time I've ever eaten pot roast other than my mom's). The lighting and atmosphere were perfect. Great for a date or with friends. more
