NOT the Best Food 4/2/2012

Being in a family that owns several restaurants , Japanese, chinese, korean, sushi, seafood ( NONE IN UTAH )... This is by far the worst place i have ever eaten. The food was bland, cold and to be honest the chicken tasted old. Their fry style is unlike what i have ever seen. ( NOT GOOD ) We ordered Mongolian Beef ( Bland, cold, ) We ordered Sesame chicken ( chicken tasted very old and had a gamey flavor ) We also ordered Orange Chcken ( Absolutely flavorless) The fried rice smelled like rotten meat and the soup had the texture of jello. I admit the customer service was good, The staff was polite. The prices were a little more then its worth. Maybe the cooks should try the food before giving it to others. I am an avid believer of trying and trying again before leaving any kind of review. im sorry i just had to do this. I know what im writing in my magazine for Utah's food choices.. Sorry Guys. more

Not worth it 2/27/2012

The food smelled like rotting garbage, the shrimp with veggies tasted bad, the chicken in the shez tasted greasy....I wish I had not paid 22 dollars for this.... I have eaten chinese food in California, Virginia, Alabama, and Florida .....and this is the first time I have been disappointed :( more

Lauras first time at Fong's 5/1/2011

Laura Farrell and I had the best time at Fong's 2 weeks ago. The food was delious and the owner stopped by our table to personally ask us how things were. He did that to others visiting! We had the Lemon Shrimp and Mongolian Beef, to die for!!! Thanks for a grea time Laura and great food Fong!! LOVED IT!!!! Just Saying!!! more

Wonderfully Fresh Chinese Food 4/14/2011

Our family makes Fong's a choice for a fun group dinner as often as possible. Sometimes we leave the choices up to Fong, and other times we each try something we like and share it family style. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is a must and we love the vegetables in any of the veggie dishes. They are always fresh and perfectly done. I have told many people about Fong's and it always becomes one of their favorites. more

There are one 1 or 2 places I will eat Chinese food Fongs being one of them of coarse... It is always very clean, they are very polite and nice!!! The food is awesome I love all their food but their PonPon Chicken is to die for... Yes I highly recommend Fongs for a GREAT experience of fine DINNING and GREAT FOOD!!!!! more

This place rocks! I have had some lunches catered for important clients and every time I come back to town its Fong's by popular request. The quality is awesome and surprisingly affordable. Great care is taken and always on the mark. Big thumbs up... more

We love to eat at Fong's! They have friendly fast service, reasonable prices and great food. Love the lemon chicken, Pon Pon chicken, and all the stir fry dishes. Yum. We go there often. more

We eat at Fong's at least once a week. It is healthy, fresh and always good. My kids love the chow mein, and pon pon chicken and my husband and I crave the beef and asparagus. more

Finest Fuji Beef!! 4/8/2011

My family loves Fong's Fine Chinese Dining. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. Fong's Fuji Beef is the best! The beef is tender and savory. Fong's take-out is our families first choice for our parties at home. Fire Phoenix is also excellent and we always get a double order of Orange Chicken for the kids. Fong's is a great family restuarant. more

I love fongs pon pon chicken it the best, their service is great, its always fresh, the place is really clean and also its kid friendly, not like other places. I dont mind driving all the way from West Valley if i want good chinese food, only at Fongs. more

GREAT Food, Service, and Hospitality! 4/8/2011

I am a 2-3 time a month patron of Fong's. I have tried other Chinese restaurants in the Draper area and Fong's is the best! I especially love the General Tso's chicken, Walnut Shrimp and the pan fried noodles! Alos, Fong's is very clean, spotless frankly. I would also have to say that the service has always been top notch. In fact, I see Fong himself out chatting with patrons every time i'm in there. Fong really makes you feel like he knows who you are and that the customer is why he's in business. more

Pon Pon Chicken is my favorite chinese meal. I have tried several restraunts in the valley for it. I have to say that Fong's has the best I have tried. The service was exellent! The food is of top quality. Everyone who loves Pon Pon Chicken has to try Fong's more

Yeh or Ney? It's a NEY!!! 8/31/2010

Fong's.....after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was pretty empty for a restaurant for usual lunch hours. I ordered something like a Mongolian Beef...and oh man, i could not taste anything but the excessive sweet sauce that they put in the dish....that overly sweet sauce is like a must have in all Americanized Chinese food...very disappointed!!! It is definitely a big NEY!!!!! more

Being in a state that had some of the best chinese in the country, Fongs comes very close. The Walnut Shrimp is great! The Pon Pon Chicken is the best Pon Pon Chicken I have ever had. This is not an ""American"" Chinese Place...rightfully so! It is traditional chinese with fresh ingredients. Fongs doesn't change its menu to accomodate people who are used to lamp chinese food. They keep the quality to the level of fine (actual) Chinese dining. Service is at its best, the place is clean, and the owner treats you like a best friend. Fongs is a must and Draper is lucky to have it! Pros: Traveled everywhere and for Utah one of the best chinese more

Good, but not great 3/9/2010

I would say that Fongs is a step above Panda Express but far from great Chinese food. So far, it is the best Chinese that I have had in Draper, but that isn't saying much and I still need to try two more places before I can have a definitive answer. If you really want Chinese but don't want to leave Draper, then Fongs is a good bet, but don't expect to be wowed by their slightly above average cuisine. Pros: Price Cons: Not what I would consider great chinese food more
