Over the past 6 years we have used Folsom Relocation about 6 times. They have moved us in and out of storage and in and out of houses. They also assisted my daughter and her family with their move in to their new home in California. I have found them to be friendly and helpful with my set ups. They have been professional and reliable with each move. Lucille and Mike have always been patient and helpful even if I only called with a question. BEWARE!!! We used Folsom Relocation & Storage to unload our budget trucks. We were quoted 4 hours and were charged 10.25 hours to our credit card. We were also charged for an hour that was not worked! When I called to complain and get a partial refund I had to leave a message for the owner Mike Long. I proceeded to have to leave messages for him for 2 months before I got a call back! When I finally talked to him he was extremely rude, called me names, and yelled at me! He refused to refund any money, even the hour we were charged that was not worked! This was the worst moving experience I have ever had! more

I have never written a bad review for a company nor am I competitor trying to make them look bad. We used Folsom Relocation and Storage to move us from Rocklin to Auburn. When I opened my dresser drawer at our new place, I noticed both my camera and Ipod missing from the same drawer it was in the night before. The interesting thing is that I NEVER remove the headphones from the IPOD, and they were left in the drawer. I took the matter up with the owner of the company who asked me to file a police report. I did, even providing the serial numbers of the items. Their response was that because the Auburn PD would not launch a full investigation that they were going to ignore me. I am not crazy but at least one of their employees is dishonest. If you use them , be sure to hide your valuables!!!!! more

Buyer Beware!!! I had a terrible experience with this company Aug. 2007. There is a tremendous lack of communication and customer service.
