If it were possible to rate it 0, I would have, but this place is carrying the name "restaurant" and even has the complimentary "southern kitchen" attributes in its title, which targets both locals who claim to adore southern cuisine only , and the ones who come from other states and enthousiastically explore different types of cuisine.
I don't really know how to express my negative opinion of this place in a more appropriate way, so here it is-- don't go there!!!
You know how sometimes it's a mere coincidence and a bad day when a waitress flips the tray on you, or the food can't come on time cause it's 'full house', or how they forget to bring you the check after asking for it twice...Well, this place didn't have neither the charm of the coincidental problems, nor the desire of its employees to correct them.
The food is soaking in grease and at best discusting. I ordered 5 different dishes thinking I didn't know this specific type of corn/fried green tomatoes/fried chicken - abundant cuisine, but I was wrong with every meal I ordered. In my opinion, people should impose some restrictions on the ingredients like oil and salt for use in meals. And if this is the case, Folks will definitely go down the drain with all the high-cholesterol, rich-in-grease, heart problem-inducing cheap food courts and local restaurants.
Oh, not to forget: I also saw 2 roaches running around my table after I paid the bill.
