Folks Folly is not very good at all. When I was a child a loved it but for the last five years the steaks have always come out burnt and the quality of meat doesn't seem near as ...

I don't think Folk's Folly is the best steak house. I had much better at Buckley's. Plus, Folk's Folly is VERY expensive, and Buckley's, which I think is better, is only about 11 dollars for an 8 oz steak with garlic mashed potatoes Pros: nice, quiet, good service Cons: EXPENSIVE, potatoes not great more

The #1 restaurant to visit when you are in Memphis. When you are in town, if you only have time to go to one restaurant, this is the place to go. The best steaks I have ever had. Great, courteous service and the DEEP FRIED PICKLES are to die for. If you have never had them, you must try them. They will become your new favorite appetizer.   • Locally owned and operated since 1977, Folk's Folly Prime Steakhouse is Memphis' Original Prime Steakhouse. We offer our guests the option of 7 distinct dining rooms and 12 private dining rooms, accomodating 2-80 guests. Serving USDA Prime meats, imported lamb, premium pork, veal, duck and all-natural chicken in addition to fresh seafood. Our menu is derived from our "from scratch" kitchen. Weekly special offerings are introduced on Wednesdays and run through the following Tuesday. Our Cellar Lounge is the area's only intimate piano lounge, offering live music Monday through Saturday. Our retail store, The Prime Cut Shoppe, opened in 1989 in response to patrons requests for take-home dining and mail-order gift packages. Our tenured staff await your arrival to spoil you with Southern hospitality.
