GREAT SERVICE 9/10/2012

Thanks Steve,\r Getting ready for the MS ride, I noted my bike developed a strange popping sound and was concerned that I would break down on the ride. Over night, Steve,diagnosed, cleaned and lubed the cassett and now I have quietest ride in town. \r GREAT SERVICE - THANK YOU!!! more

I had never purchased a bike and wanted the support and knowledge of experts and am very pleased with the level of service given to this newbie. more

Service is remarkable! 4/3/2012

Mac Jr was SUPER! My son and I were riding throuh town on a benefit bike ride and he was kind enough to deliver us a spare tire and tube, plus some great goodies for my son all the way to where we were so that we did not have to ride extra to come to his shop! What an awesome spirit of service! more

Mac Jr. is especially cordial and listens carefully when\r I go there. He is quite knowledgeable and makes me\r feel at home. He gives good advice without trying\r to sell me something I didn't ask for. He went out of\r his way to actually create a device for my antique\r bike that was more than I expected and charged\r me a very modest amount for labor. I would not\r go to any other bike shop in this town. more

Find another shop. 7/19/2011

bad customer service. My daughter and I went in, to get bike parts, and like Dave S. Said, no greeting. We had questions, and needed help, but the clerk was more interested in visiting with one of his pals. I really felt second class. I took my business up the road to the BikeDepot in Havelock and bought my bike there. Too bad. I live here and would like to use this bike shop, but no way. more

Flythe's Bike Shop is Your Best Bet for Cycling Needs 11/8/2009

When I moved to New Bern I had Flythe's recondition my bike that had been in storage for five years. They gave me several options for seats, handlebars, pedals and tires, taking the time to explain each option and to help determine what would work best for my needs. I recommend a visit to Flythe's for any of your cycling needs. Associates in the shop (usually two when I've been in) are busy but friendly and prompt when you call or drop by with questions. more

I assume Dave S. is talking about the shop in Raleigh, NC and not New Bern, NC. The shop in New Bern is great. I am always greeted by a helpful associate. more

2 employees in store, 1 customer, I come in and rec'd not a word of help or greeting until I got their attention to the point that I wanted to check out and leave ! Terrible customer service backed up by several other people I discussed this with at work.\r Go to the other shop in town,...I did ! more

bikes and ass. 9/2/2005

I recentally received a bike for my daufghter. And went here to get the helment and everything else she need. The prices are so good we got a whole lot for little money and everything was execelent quallity. You can find everything from bikes, to parts to helments to bells to baskets and even the bead to put on the spokes. more
