Flying M coffee house is such an artistic unique environment. I love riding my bike there to enjoy the tasty flavorful espresso and the chill environment. I really enjoy the staff...

A fun place to hang out 4/14/2006

The Flying M is probably the most popular coffee shop in Boise. Their varieties of coffee are the same as any other place, but the ambience here is what sells. The decor is both cozy and artsy, and even if you are sitting alone (pretending) to read a newspaper, the people watching alone will leave you entertained. They have a happy hour every weekday where you can get discounted coffee drinks. Plus this is the only spot in Boise I know of with an art vending machine. For five dollars, you can get a mini handmade piece of art made my an independent artist. It's expensive for what you get, but it's a cool extra that makes a cool coffee shop even better. more

Artsy hangout 8/18/2005

If you want to just hang out but not at home then this is your spot. They have tables set up where you can play games, draw on the table or read. They offer coffee and stuff which is good. I think most come here for the ambiance. A cool place for the artsy type to hang out and share ideas. more

Great 8/13/2005

I love this coffee shop. No matter what, you can have a good time at Flying M. I love to go in just to sit, hang with friends, or have my occasional Orangina. They have activities galore, and aside from the coffee you can get there, they have a wide variety of other trinkets and toys that are sure to amuse. If you have a spare hour or so, just head down and watch the other customers, they are some of the mose eccentric in Boise, and I can assure you you'll have a good time. more
