Good organization of cost-conscious aviators. Manager/operator Billy Tebow is a Christian and it shows in how things are run. Fleet is primarily Piper Warriors, but they have a Cessna 172 and a couple of twins. This is the only place at Columbus (GA) Metropolitan Airport (CSG) where you can take the computerized written exam. Joining the club costs $300 plus $50/month, but aircraft rental runs about 75% (wet) what the next closest FBO charges. And the $300 and some of the monthly membership can be waived with some training packages. Rent is strictly by the Hobbs - no minimums if you fly out of town for three days and the plane is parked for a day. If you rent more than a couple of hours a month, you save money at Flying Club of Columbus. It's for people who like to fly, like to talk about flying and be around people like that without spending a lot of money.
