Fly Fishing Shop

Ordered a bunch of flies for my Belize trip from their website thinking that I knew what I was doing. I received a call the next day from Josh at The Fly Fishing Shop, he informed me that a few flies that I ordered were out of stock and asked what I would be fishing for. I told him that mostly Permit (I'd never fished for Permit before) he suggested totally different flies that actually cost less and I caught several of these elusive fish while my buddies didn't even catch one.... I ordered a few items from the Fly Fishing Shop for a total of about $120 on their internet site. A couple of days later they called me and said that one of the items I ordered wasn't in stock and asked if I wanted to wait for it to come in. I said that would be fine. A few days later they called me and left a message on my machine saying that one of the items that I ordered wasn't in stock and wanted to know if I wanted to wait for it to come in. When I got the chance, a day or two later, I called them back and I told them that I believe that we'd already had this conversation a week ago. They apologized for the mix up. Cool, no problem, I said. I decided, at this time, to forget about the out of stock item and just send the rest of the stuff. They said fine. OK, everything's cool, I thought. Pros: They don't steal your money (just your time and sanity); They should be a reality show! Cons: Incompetent; Can't actually get them to send you anything that you order. more
