THese are parents that have children that play too, and practice hard too, so know I want my child to play well. There is nothing more important than this common type of relationship too me. I have bought a Snow violin for my 10 year old daughter from Flushing Violin Shop. The staff was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. My niece wanted to purchase a violin also but her budget was a bit lower, and they have seached the shop to find the best ones for the price we had asked, and had made changes to it to them make them sound even better. I recommend this shop without reservation. I know it stocks Chinese ""Snow"" brand instruments. I do not know if it carries other makes as well. I was referred to this store by another violin shop that was temporarily unable to provide the new ""Snow"" violin I was looking for. I was very pleased with my experience. The salesperson was curteous and well-informed. I had called ahead and when I arrived they had pre-prepared four violins for me to sample. At my request, the sales person played all four and recommended the best one of them to me. The price was exactly what was quoted to me over the phone and there were no unexpected extra charges. I have not had any problems with the violin and it has not needed any routine service, so I can not yet comment on their follow-up service. Pros: excellent customer service and very good prices more
