Floyd Behavioral Health Center's intensive outpatient treatment program serves adult patients with a flexible schedule that allows patients to live at home and continue to meet daily responsibilities while receiving treatment.
Our outpatient program is appropriate for stable patients who require intensive treatment, but not hospitalization, and for those who do not meet insurance or Medicare requirements for inpatient therapy. Services are provided Monday through Friday.
Patients must be evaluated and pre-approved for admission to the program. Onsite and phone assessments and referrals are available.
Referrals and Assessments
Our professional staff is here to take your referral 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All you have to do is make the call.
Following a brief telephone interview, our staff will assist you in scheduling an in-person assessment or make other recommendations to ensure your needs are met in the most appropriate and timely manner.
When calling to make a referral, you will be asked for the following information:
Your name, phone number and relationship to referred individual.
Referred individual's name, date of birth, social security number, address and phone number.
A description of the referred individual's current problems.
A date when the referred individual may be available for assessment.
Following a phone interview, clinical data will be discussed with a psychiatrist who determines the most appropriate disposition to meet the needs of the individual.
