Floridian Cuban Sandwich

Great food here. You can sub turkey for the traditional pork and it's delicious. With all the traditonal toppings and beans and rice on the side. Delicioius and cheap. Not much to look at but that's fine with me. more

i visit the Tampa Bay area regularly and always make it a point to stop by this resturant several times. My grandmother is Cuban and many of her recipes are difficult to beat. BUT The Floridian comes close and in fact...I think they've beat her Cuban sandwich! The deviled crab is so tasty...I wish I had a bigger stomach. Top it off with the hot sauce they offer...its unbeatable. Last year I went in and the owner agreed to sell me some frozen deviled crabs to take back home to Texas. You must go...if you do not you are doing yourself a great injustice. Seriously...I fully intend to drop big bucks(thanks honey) when I'm on vacation and this resturant is better than all of the fancy..waterfront dining we typically do in Florida. I just love it!!!!
