Well look no further cause have I found the place for you!!. Come on down to Florida Wheels Skating Center just right off of US 301 in Bradenton Florida. This is a family fun business and has been open since i can remember. They have a roller rink big enough to let the kids roll around but small enough for you not to worry. Your child has a birthday coming up? Well they have a wonderful birthday package for any child that is ready to have fun. They have many games to play on skate especially that enjoyable "Chicken song everybody loves. Also they have races in which the winner of each age category wins a free drink or hot dog . Each 1st and 2nd winner gets a prize. So if you child is fast they can by their own refreshments ;) Florida Wheels Skating center is the place to be. The rink is definitely aging, and somewhat falling into disrepair, along with attendance dropping significantly. The appeal of roller skating has dropped a lot, and as such the business has dropped. Part of this could be that the rink caters to a client base who's age is more in the under 13 category, and the appeal to older clients is just not there, unless they have kids. The ownership is also quite strict, with what some would call a ridiculous amount of rules. Also, ownership is fairly grouchy and doesn't particularly deal with customers in the most friendly manner at all times. If you want a cheap way to go skating indoor, it's a good option, but it's more of a niche establishment. more
