My first dentures were put in immediately after my teeth were pulled. I was miserable with them. Then my dentist told me I needed my permanent dentures which would make everything hunkey-dorey. Wrong! I spent more time in that dentist's office than I did in my own - getting adjustments, tweaking here and there, filing down this and that - I've never paid so much for something that hurt so bad. Then, to top it all off, my puppy got ahold of my dentures and chewed all the pink stuff off. I realized it was my fault she got them, but I was still pretty mad. this is my 2nd set of dentures-1st was 18 years ago - they gave me a price and an appointment and first visit very thorough and dentist was friendly and made you feel at home - 2nd visit I received dentures and off I went - have had one adjustment and it was minor - Thanks Florence Dentures for a job well done!!!!! Dr. Parry and Dr. Haugh are completely correct in what they have told you. When a person with some teeth decides to get there teeth pulled and fitted for a denture right away, this is called an immediate denture. The purpose of this denture is to place immediately at the time of extraction to help facilitate healing and prepare your tissues for the permanent denture. There is no way to predict how your mouth will respond after surgery. The gum tissue will change and some bone remodeling will occur. Even if the immediate denture is made to perfection the immediate will not be a perfect fit after you heal. You must get at the very least a reline and for most people a new more permanent denture. Dentures are very expensive can cost thousands of dollars. At Dr Parry's prices you could have bought four for the price of what I paid for my teeth in a private dental office. more

FLORENCE DENTURE OWNED BY DR. PARRY IN OCALA IS A FRUAD. I CALLED AND ASKED HOW MUCH WILL THEY CHARGE ME FOR A SET OF DENTURES AND WAS TOLD $599.00. I HAD MY REMAINING TEETH PULLED AND WAS FITTED FOR MY NEW TEETH AFTER I PAID THEM $599.00. MY TEETH HAVE NEVER FIT PROPERLY AND HAVE CAUSED ME MUCH PAIN AND EMBARRASSMENT. DR. HAUGH SMEARED SOME WHITE GOOP INSIDE THE DENTURES BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T MADE RIGHT AND DR. PARRY WILL NOT LET THEM RE-DO THE TEETH BECAUSE HIDDEN IN HIS CONTRACT IS A PHRASE THAT STATES THESE ARE ""TEMPORARY TEETH""!! WHAT KIND OF AN IDIOT WOULD PAY $600.00 FOR TEMPORARY TEETH AND THEN PAY ANOTHER $600.00 FOR PROPER ONES??? IF THEY WANT $1200.00 FOR A SET OF TEETH, THEY SHOULD SAY IT UP FRONT.
