had the AC recharged. Was able to get the car in on short notice as to prepare for a long drive to So. Cal. The car cools noticeably better in stop n go traffic, than it did before. more

First visit, major repair went well 7/13/2010

I was referred by a friend, and my phone conversation with SRAR describing my cars issue and the steps they would take to diagnose the issue, convinced me that I could have confidence in their skills and knowledge, my car would be repaired correctly the first time. I am Pleased with the repairs and will be returning for future repairs and general maintenance. more

Excellent Service/Peace of Mind 7/6/2010

Dan has consistently provided excellent service for me with my van. As part of my recent 120k service he also gave me an assessment form that gives an accurate picture of my vehicles state of being. Having a clean bill of health per these reports provides some peace of mind while knowing the status of such items as my brakes helps me plan for routine maintenance that might be coming due. Well done as always! more

I'm never disappointed with the service and results I get from San Ramon Auto Repair. Whether it be routine maintenance or large repairs, the job is done right and in a timely manner. The people that work here are exceptionally friendly and they always remember me. I really appreciate the neighborhood feel of this shop, so I keep going back. more

My Blazer was spewing oil everywhere 2/18/2010

We bought a 1996 Blazer for my son and when we got it home we noticed it was leaking oil. By the next day the engine compartment was smoking and oil ws everwhere. I called in and spoke with Dan that evening and he gave me some honest feedback on the problem and made an appointment for the next morning. When we got to his shop Dan put the Blazer up on the rack and showed me where he thought the leak was originating from and an estimate. Within a few hours the leak was fixed and his estimate was accurate. It is so important to be able to feel trust for the person that you are doing business with. Dan was able to instill that trust from the first time we spoke and he earned that trust when the job was done. I highly reccommend Dan and his business he is competent, fair, and honest.
