Fletcher's For Children

I walked into Fletcher's and was walking around not sure where to even start. As a new parent there are so many questions. I was pleasantly surprised when a very helpful staff member came and spent over an hour explaining everything from furniture to daipers, carseats as well as strollers with me. She showed such passion for what she does. Her most important message to me that day was for me to relax and know that they would help me through each step. I ended up coming back and buying my nursery furniture as well as a lot of other necessities. I also registered with them and was told at my shower what great customer service they received. Thank you again Fletcher's for taking the time and caring so much!!! more

I LOVE FLETCHER'S!!!! They have an amazing variety of furniture, carseats and anything you could possibly need for your little one. Of course this is one of the main reasons I went the first time. What keeps me coming back though is the amazing staff. They really take the time to share their knowledge with you to help you make the right choice for your new family. When I was expecting my first child, we came down from Portland to visit family and went into Fletcher's to create a baby registry. The staff was very helpful, teaching us about a whole new world of baby products. The service was outstanding and I was thrilled to have everything we needed in one place. We ended up buying nearly everything through Fletcher's for our son, and were so happy with the service and selection, we went back for a second round of pink nursery purchases when I was pregnant with our daughter. The prices are similar to what I've seen elsewhere, and we were happy to support a local business rather than buying online or through a big-box store. When I've needed small things, I just call and they are happy to ship via UPS. This store has all the cribs, bedding, strollers, carseats, nursing chairs that you'd expect at a baby store. Plus so many hard to find products that I've only seen online, like the Nose Frida, Thinkbaby bottles, Mum2Mum bibs, Haba & Plan toys, Zutano clothes, wooden teethers...lots of good stuff. This is a great baby store. I only wish the store was in Portland, so I could visit more often. more

I was at a gathering and I have never heard so many bad things about a store. Mothers and fathers everywhere hate this place. Over-stuffed, over-priced, rude employees, high-pressure under- educated staff. Terribly expensive and fancy, unpractical selection. All would rather drive to portland for baby furniture! And are lots of other good places in town to get clothing for kids. more

Went in my work clothes to spend hundreds on a crib. They followed me around rudely and dicourtiously. As if I was a thief. I will never go back. It seemed like the employees were all ill-mannered and having a terrible day. But It was like that the first time I went in also! more

This store has left a bad taste in my mouth. Very expensive clothing and gear. Terrible customer service. Way too much stuff crammed in a building by the mall! I will not go there ever again. more

When we were expecting our first child almost 8 years ago we bought a convertable crib here. It has lasted thru three of our own children and one of a friends! The crib is awesome. The customer service at Fletchers is great too. When a piece of our crib was recalled we recieved great help from Fletchers contacting the manufacturer of the crib and getting the part! Highly recommend for quality baby furniture. The other items though boutique like in nature are still a bit pricey in my opinion. more

Fletcher's is a high end children's boutique and it carries products that reflect that. Prices are high, but for the most part, items are good quality. We purchased a crib and dresser 4 years ago and they have held up beautifully. I anticipate using them for a few kids and then passing them along for many years more use. They carry some of the more expensive brands of children's clothing, but they often have decent sales on the racks. This is totally the way to go. Designer duds at 40% off...almost makes them affordable. more

This is a large store that caters to setting up everything one might need when expecting a baby. They have everything from furniture to clothes including some adorable toys. The quality is great on the things sold here and the prices reflect that. This is a great place to shop for a new baby gift. It is located in the plaza across from the Valley River Mall. more

Going to Fletchers is always a fun experience. They have unique items you can't find at any old store. The quality is always good too. The prices can be a little high but it's well worth every penny. I shop there for friends' baby showers and for my own children. I always find the perfect item at Fletcher's. more
