I used to play hockey in highschool, but i'm not good enough for college level, and i really miss skating. it's almost like flying. i love going down to the fleet skating center when it's open in the winter months, especially during times when it's not too busy. it's only five dollars, and there's a student discount, too. it's great fun and great exercise! more

Outdoor skating 8/17/2005

This is an outdoor skating rink that is open during the winter months. There are college nights where students from surrounding colleges can skate at a reduced price. Skate rentals are available for $5 and on regular nights, unlimited skating is available to adults for $5 and less for children. The center is usually less crowded on weekdays and more crowded on weekends and is a great place to hang out with friends. more
