Nat is a great worker that knows what he is doing. We had previously had a bad experience with a HVAC person. Nat came right over and was able to find out the problem and fixed the problem with the furnace. It is a 20 year old furnace and Nat did not try to force a sell on us knowing after examining the furnace that it still had life in it. We are a disabled couple on a very fixed income and Nat will work with us on repairs as needed. I will definatly call Nat back for other work and I would and will recommend him to anyone that needs a great HVAC guy with no BS, lies or pumped up charges. We also have 4 small dogs and he was great with them and they liked him instantly. So for any heating, cooling or water heater work call Nat for the best and friendliest deal around. more

I couldn't give this business a higher review. After a nightmare of dealing with another HVAC company with extremely poor customer service, I contacted Nat for a second opinion after he was referred to me by a friend. \r \r The other HVAC company had fixed a minor problem on my furnace and then had to return a week later when the furnace again stopped working. Besides it taking over 24 hours for them to finally get to me (on both calls), showing up 2 hours later than the 2 hour window they originally gave me with no apology, treating me incredibly rude on the phone on several occasions and acting like I couldn't possibly understand the high tech nature of what they were doing to fix the furnace, they spent 2 minutes looking at the furnace and told me it needed completely replaced due to a cracked heating exchange.\r \r I called Nat at 4pm in the afternoon asking if he could possibly come out the next day to look at my furnace and give his diagnosis. He instead said he'd be happy to come by that evening when I got off work to try to get us heat the same day. Once he arrived, he walked me through every step of the process of what he was doing. Turns out my heat exchange was in fact, not cracked and the furnace didn't need replaced as the other company told me. He ended up having to order the part to fix the furnace, but got it quickly and was back the next day on my lunch break to install the part and get the furnace working. He even showed me simple quick fixes I could try myself if I had problems with the furnace in the future. \r \r As someone else said in their review, I am also a single mom and I was very comfortable having Nat in my home. His friendly, professional nature puts you at ease and you can feel he is genuine in his diagnosis and suggestions. His prices are very fair, & he is knowledgeable and quick in his service, with no additional fees to come out after hours. I will certainly use Nat again in the future, and will recommend him to all that I know. \r \r A+ in my book! more

I came home from a weekend trip to find water throughout my kitchen and utility room as my hot water heater died! I called Flash heating the next morning, Nat the owner came right over to find the problem and worked with me to find the best most affordable solution. Nat was very friendly, trustworthy and efficient. In fact while working on my hot water heater he noticed a minor problem with my furnace which he quickly notified me about and fixed! I am a single female home owner so I often do not feel safe with strangers in my home or sure they are giving me the best and most honest price. I did not feel that way with Nat, right away I could tell he was genuine and professional and had the best interest of his customers at hand. I called Nat on a Sunday morning when my air conditioner stopped working. He said it was not a problem to come out on a Sunday and came right out. Nat knew exactly what to do and was able to fix my problem promptly. He also charged me a great price. I will not hesitate to call Nat when I need heating and home reapir needs!! I called Nat to perform a spring A/C and crawl space inspection. I mentioned a condensation drain problem on our furnace and he installed a pump and drain to our washing machine drain. This alleviated the problem of an exterior drain (approximately 1/2 to 1 gallon of water draining next to foundation). All completed timely at a good price. The first hot day of Spring and my AC doesn't blow cool air! I Googled AC repair in Boise and found that Nat at FLASH Heating & Home Repair had the highest number of 5-star reviews. I'm not surprised at all. Nat had the lowest priced service call fee that once paid, is good for the whole year. His service was quick, efficient and friendly. He had replaced my broken fan motor in less than an hour. He also offered to change my ceiling filter since I don't own a ladder, and then he wouldn't let me pay for it! Very nice guy. I would definitely do business with Nat at Flash again! more

We have had several issues with our heater recently and we are so happy to have found Flash Heating. Another firm told us our control panel needed replaced. Flashed assessed the problem, when we approach him for a second opinion, and found the panel did not in face need replaced. We saved money, and had no pressure at all. We were very pleased with how we were treated and we'll continue to use these guys for any other issues that arise in the future. more

Over the weekend I had an AC unit that stopped working and my house heated up to over 80 degrees. I've gone through a number of HVAC companies over the years and the last one sort of creeped my wife out so I was back on the quest for someone new. A good friend referred Nat Golden, owner of Flash Heating & Home Repair. We were ready to deal with the heat over the weekend to avoid the high repair rates. Nat offered to take a look at the unit on a Saturday afternoon and in a couple of hours we were up and running again. He's extremely professional, knowledgeable and as nice of a guy as you will meet. As far as trust goes, he took the time to troubleshoot all of the suspect components instead of just replacing them all. He showed us the parts and explained everything he did. After a couple hours and a nominal bill that was nowhere near what I expected, we were good to go. Nat even checked on us a few days later. The last time I had this happen in a different home, we ended up with a huge bill and a new AC unit. We could not have been happier with the service we got from Nat at Flash Heating & Home repair and will definitely call again. No job is too small, he will take time to help you when needed. Good work at a fair price. Top of the list for me and I would recommend Flash Heating when you need help. Pros: Fair, friendly, pride in work Cons: None more
