The Flagstaff house is a great restaurant and it's enviroment adds to the joy of your experience. The food is the best you could ask for and the staff is awesome. The food was wonderful, the view spectacular (particularly as the sun set and the city lights came on), and the service was top knotch. We had a wonderful, romantic meal and our palettes were more than satisfied. more

Excellent Restaurant 10/10/2002

I don't know where these people have been, but the Flagstaff House in an excellent restaurant! And fake accents? Sounds like somone is making stuff up! I have always had the best food and wine at my outings at Flagstaff and the greatest service...Maybe the other folks should just stay down the hill and barbeque in their backyards! more

I was disappointed with the so-so food and service, especially when I saw the bill. The wine list is quite impressive--about the size of a dictionary. The view was fabulous, and ultimately that is what I was paying for. Pros: The view, The wine list Cons: Over-priced, Servers were cold more

Overrated, there are better restaurants in Boulder. It managed to get highly rated when there were few good restuarants and now isn't as deserving. more

Game plate is the best, especially the Kangaroo. Teh tartare n of Kobe Beef is fantastic! Pros: Great Food, Great View Cons: Expensive more

We moved to colorado a few years ago and came upon th eflagstaff house. since then every anniversary has been spent there. The food, the service and of course the view are second to none in the area. Thank you for another wonderfull anniversary. if you have one night out make sure you go here, we have never been dissapointed!!! more

Great Dinner 6/20/2002

On Thursday Evening, my wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary by having dinner at the Flagstaff House Restaurant. It was most enjoyable and an evening that we shall never forget. The service, Food and viewcould not have been better. You should be very proud of the staff and we would like to thank them for everything. more

Doesn't Live Up To the Hype 6/16/2002

First of all, everyone should understand that dinner is going to be very expensive. And there are times when I am very willing to pay top dollar for a special occassion. But there needs to be some balance between cost and quality. While the food is above average and the menu is very unique, the service has been absolutely horrible each and every time I have dined at the restaurant. If the prices were somewhat reasonable, Flagstaff House would be a wonderful place to dine. But their services simply do not add up to their costs.
