They just have horrible service, and even worse customer service. We pre scheduled a cleaning because my wife is 9 months pregnant, ready to go at any minute (even though she's early to deliver) and they called to tell us at 8am to say (the day before) that they wanted to reschedule because they dont have any other jobs ""out there"" that day. They are in the West Babylon/Lindenhurst area, and we are in Islip!! We scheduled this a WEEK in advance. This is the second time flag carpet has done this to us. Dont waste your time here call stanely steemer...or anyone else. UPDATE: I had a very nice woman from Flag Carpet call me this morning and confirm the appointment that the man the night prior had not only canceled with me, but was rude to my husband when he called as well. I explained to her what had happened the evening before, she apologized several times but said that they were definetely keeping my appointment. This was at 930am. Today at 4:40pm that same gentleman (who claims to be the manager- but I believe it was the ... worse customer service. Today at 4:40pm that same gentleman (who claims to be the manager- but I believe it was the owner himself) called and said that they couldnt keep my appointment for tomorrow morning because he wouldnt have anyone in ""my area,"" I didnt realize that Islip was that far from West Babylon/Lindenhurst to have such a problem keeping a week old appointment. When I became understandably upset he just said ""well you can either yell about it or reschedule"" and hung up. This is a company that my parents use for their house, their 6 rental houses and their rental business building, and we've used them for years. If you cant be good to long time customers, then its pointless to be a long time customer. I called Stanley Steemer, and explained what had happened, they will be here at my house for first call between 8am and 10am. I will not only never use them again, but I will never recommend them either. If I could give them ""no stars"" I would.
