Local pub with tasty treats 3/26/2006

Visited for lunch and everything was wonderful. We enjoyed fantastic homemade pretzel sticks with our beers and breaded pork sandwiches. You can't find homemade german fare everywhere! Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices. Pros: prices, pretzel sticks! more

You have to spend some time at Flabby's 11/9/2005

My husband and I recently visited Louisville, KY. A local postman directed us to Flabby's. What a great place! In these days of chain restaurants, it's great to find a few nice old neighborhood establishments that have been in the community for a long time. It's very casual and has a really great vibe. I highly recommend it. more

Flabby's Divine Food 7/30/2002

Not only is Flabby's famous for fried chicken, now they have Mazzoni's Oysters, cod fish, great hamburgers and a nice selection of authentic German cuisine. Almost all thier food is homemade, and delicious. Flabby's received a real nice review from Courier Journal's food critic Susan Reigler, 7/27. Although they DO NOT take Credit Cards or reservations.
