Fix-2-Fit Alterations

Don't go here for your alterations. For one thing, the lady working there did a HORRIBLE job on a jacket that I took in to have altered. I had to make 3 trips because she kept screwing up. I finally got fed up and just left unhappy with the way the jacket fit because I didn't want to deal with her anymore. Secondly, the customer service was HORRIBLE. The lady working there is not in anyway shape, or form, friendly. Save your time and money and do it yourself...you'd probably do a better job than this place. more

I brought my prom dress in this spring after having gone to a few other places, and Fix 2 Fit had the lowest prices in town. I had my dress hemmed and the sides and back were taken in also because it was too big all around. When I got my dress back, which only had a five day turn around date, I was very pleased with the quality of the work. It fit perfect and looked great! The people were very friendly! My mother and older sister also come here for their alterations. We will definately continue to come back. more

My experiences at Fix 2 Fit alterations have always been excellent. The workers are pleasant to be around and really know what they are doing. I took my extremely expensive dress there because i knew they would do an excellent job, and they did not disappoint. I asked them to take the bust in, a very difficult job because the back was cut down at an angle. they were able to work around the intricate beading and designs and really made the dress fit me perfectly. I have never had a bad experience there, and one day i will definately be taking my wedding dress there for alterations. I would reccommend all my friends to go to Fix 2 Fit if they needed anything altered. Their courteous, prompt, and qualified service is unparalled by every other alteration store i have been to. I took my daughters $700 dress into this shop for alterations. The dress has hand sewn beading and is very full. I asked several times if she was comfortable altering a dress such as this. I was assured that she was experienced with such garments. WOW - what a mess, the hem is crooked and not by a little - it was almost 3/4 inch shorter on one side. Some of the beading was popped off of the front of the dress. The dress has folded layers in the bust that were no longer laying in a uniform angle and if that was not enough the back of the dress at the zipper was bunched and looked like a wad of material that had just been sewn down. The owner kept saying that the dress was perfect and she had the nerve to grab my arm and say that I just didn't want to pay!!!! With our event one week away I felt blessed to find a REAL seamstress to fix the dress, and she fixed the mess for less than Fix 2 Fit was charging. I have never seen such poor quality work anywhere.
