Sure, we all know it's bad for us. But holy cow. It's delicious. And cheap. And very, very fast. I never order pizza from anyplace else. Five stars for Five Star! more

I have eaten ALOT of pizza in my day and 5 star is amoung the best! I order from the Tower Road store and my delivery time is usually much less than the 30 minutes the say. (So be ready). I stopped in the store to pick up an order and a young tall skinny guy was cutting pizzas so fast my head was spinning, he still made time to give me a smile and ask how I was doing even though he was working his tail off. Every delivery driver I had was nice but fast (I guess they are very busy) except one wierd girl who asked to use my bathroom!? I usually tip the drivers $5.00 ( I figure in a restaurant I tip 15% but they don't have to drive to my house like a pizza delivery person does.) Anyway, 5 star tower road gets 5 stars...try it, you will love it. Oh yea, they use REAL CHEESE! more

Amazing - Great pizza 1/3/2011

Amazing! I order pizza from these guys all the time! They are right down the road from my house and best of all it is cheap! I live right next to Leo's, Mellow Mushroom, and Papa Johns. 5 Star is way faster and way cheaper and the pizza is GREAT! more

Good food at a great price with fast delivery 12/28/2010

I get Five Star all the time. It's good pizza. It's not like an actual pizzeria, but for chain pizza, it's the best. 16"; large with mounds of cheese and toppings. I prefer it to Domino’s and Pizza Hut, with Papa John's coming in second. The greatest thing about Five Stars is how fast it gets to you. About 20 minutes. Their wings are decent and their new chicken bites are tasty. Good food at a great price with fast delivery. more

The best - Fresh and hot pizza 12/27/2010

I work at the University of Florida (midnight shift) and it surprised me that the Five Star Pizza is open 24 hours. They deliver the best and fresh piping hot pizza in Gainesville. more

Excellent - always great 12/23/2010

Excellent! I order from Five Star about once a week. They deliver fast, the pizza is still steaming hot, and it is always great. The price is pretty cheap compared to Pizza Hut and Papa John's. Last year we had received a coupon for a free pizza and we tried it and have ordered from there ever since. more

Their pizza is my favorite 12/10/2010

If you order, it is usually 30 minutes. If you pick up it is 8-10 minutes. Their pizza is my favorite in Gainesville. I'm a huge pizza hut pan pizza fan, but I would order Five Star over Pizza Hut anyday. The XL is HUGE (I'm talking 20"+). Their crust is thinnish, and SO fresh. I love their crust because it's just liked eat fresh-baked italian bread. Their sauce is semi-sweet and they give you a fair amount of cheese. I always get cheese, though sometimes I'll get pepperoni and onion if friends are eating it with me. Now, you may think it doesn't sound that great. But for some reason, it just IS the best pizza in Gainesville. It is also pretty cheap at ~$10 for the XL cheese. If I ever have a pizza craving, I know to order Five Star or I'll be sorry. more

YUM! 12/3/2010

We ordered pizza tonight and it arrived in less than 15 minutes! The pizza was steaming hot but the garlic rolls were gone before the pizza cooled off enough to eat. Man, you have to try those garlic rolls. more

ok. so at first i thought this pizza was good. that was the first time i orderd from it. the second time i was truely, sincerely dissapointed. it arrived cold. and the biggest of my worries is that it made everyone in my family sick! now, that is NOT something you want when you get deilvery. thats just as gross as those pizza delivery folks who smoke in their cars while driving around with peoples pizza. you'll be dissapointed if you eat here. more
