Five Star Full Svc Car Wash

Joe Purvis ripped me off for a $35 car wash that was supposed to be free with oil change and inspection. When I complained, he attacked me personally. To add insult to injury, the back deck of my car is still dirty. more

I had an incident that occured where they initially accepted full responsibility for the damaged done to my vehicle, but when it came down to fixing the problem they changed there tune and wouldn't accept responsibility. Pros: Not really a pro, but they are the only car wash in town Cons: Will not accept responsibility more

Took my new toyota avalon to get it washed. The ""express wash"" took 1 hour 30 minutes. I could have washed it myself 3 times in that amount of time. The roving army of employees seem to do a lot more socializing with each other about the latest football game or some hot chick they know than spend any time working on customers' cars. The cars just lined up to be worked on by 2 diligent lone employees who appear to do all the work of the entire business. The manager if there is one was nowhere to be found. At least the wash came out nice and pretty clean courtesy of a few hard-working souls, but the wait is maddening. Not that the wait could be alleviated by any additional employees who are paid to god-forbid do any real work to help the business. At least with this car wash, the two diligent souls work hard at cleaning my car and not stealing anything like how I happened to ""lose"" my ipod nano from Genie's god-forsaken car wash. Never coming back again to lose one and a half hours of my life each time. Pros: Decent job Cons: The wait can feel like eternity more

I write this review after MANY visits to this location. Today's visit, a freebie based on the horrible wash I got last time, was the worst and final experience I will have with this poor excuse for a full service car wash. On a very slow day, the adequately staffed car wash took about an hour and fifteen minutes to clean my vehicle. One person worked on the car while several others walked around the place doing absolutely nothing. I kid you not. After complaining to the manager that I've never experienced such a slow car wash in all my years, he slowly trodded outside and called a few guys over. It appeared as though he asked them to help the lone soldier working on my car. One guy shook his head and proceeded to go over to my car. However, he went over to shoot the breeze with the guy slowly cleaning my car and did nothing to help. He then went over to talk to his fellow cohorts again. Meanwhile, another employee was cleaning the store windows while customer cars continued to stack up. Unless you're looking for an overpriced, mediocre car wash and have over an hour to spare doing so, I urge you stay away from this car wash. By the way, I believe many of the rave reviews on this site are probably posted by the store itself. Why else would they tell you to go to the web site? Pros: Has a nice waiting room and gift shop, which is helpful when it takes so long to wash your car. Cons: Way too slow and shoddy wash to boot. more

Great full service car wash and lube. I have seen this new growing pains stores grow to a great Car Wash and Lube location. The managers are always ready to jump in when needed. Five Star is alway ready to service new and long time customers. Great community programs also. more

Surprisingly nice atmosphere. While not the best ever, the car wash was better than average and as such reasonably priced. I plan to go back. Now if only they had an espresso bar... Pros: Great facility, friendly staff, oil change more

The crew is not well trained to handle quality service nor know the difference between a $9 service versus a $30 service. Better sticking to the minimum and not swayed by their ""used-car-salesmen""-like upsell. Pros: Inviting facility Cons: Car wash is below average and over-priced more
