Five Star Exhaust

Do not take your vehicle here. I took my car in for a flat tire. The technician said he plugged my tire but couldn t get the nail out because it was too deep. I didn t know any better until I got home and my boyfriend threw a fit. The next day it was flat again. I took my car to another shop who immediately took me back to their bay and showed me the nail still deep in the tire and a plug that 5 Star put in next to the nail. They could not patch my tire due to the nail hole and plug now forming one big hole. They explained that had 5 Star properly removed the nail from my tire they could have patched it rather than boring a hole next to it. They also said that plugging is not the standard for professionals, but rather patching is due to safety and liability reasons. 5 Star s manager and owner refused to replace my tire. They would not admit to their mistake, the manager and owner never even bothered to look at the damage to my tire and stated their technician said he removed the nail. more

After telling my experience to friends they too said they stopped going there a long time ago due to shady work such as this and high prices and had they known they would have warned me to not do business with this company. more

Today, got my oil changed. It rained out side, of course, I always check my repair work afterwards. When I left work, was kind of wet on ground, so oil drips looked present. I looked under car, and it seems as though they did NOT clean ANYTHING after draining the pan. Come on, we all know our vehicles. Needless to say, I am there at opening to ask them some questions. Just check your work... I don't know their rep. more

They write up everything and give a free quote so that they have a record of the car and its problems. Their business is highly recommended by me who has need of an honest car repair place. more

Where do I start? We paid for squeak-free breaks and never received breaks at all. That's right, we paid for a service we never received! Can you believe these people can sleep at night? My husband and I went round and round over our breaks. I insisted that we needed new brakes because the "Squeak-free" breaks were chirping. And he kept telling me that it had not been long enough. Well, we took our car to another mechanic only to find out that Five Star Exhaust had never put brakes on our car. I called them but of course, they denied the whole thing. Please be careful when using Five Star Exhaust. I recommed to not use them at all. PROS: CONS: Paid for service we never received more
