Five Rivers Pet Emergency

One evening my Boston Terrier was bit by a Copperhead snake. My vet was closed, I was in panic and happy to find Five Rivers Emergency Clinic. The staff gave her 100% attention and got her feeling a little better fairly soon. They also kept me updated as to her condition. I opted to continue her care at another vet but wouldn't do it again. I hope nothing like this ever happens again but if it does, Five Rivers will be my first and last choice. A big thanks to all the staff! more

So thankful to have a place like FVPEC in our little town. Dr. Carrie helped us just tonight with our dog. We have found it necessary to visit the clinic three times in the past couple of years, and every time they have been amazing! Thank you for everything you do! more

One night someone left my back gate open and my 4 year old Boxer ran out in front of a car. I tried to call my regular vet but my call was forwarded to Five Rivers. I got there as soon as I could. Brandy was laying in the back seat bleeding and not moving. When I got to the clinic the people there came out and carried her in for me. They took her and started taking care of her right away. The Doctor was right there checking her and told me what needed to be done. She needed stitches in a couple of places and she seemed to be in shock. They kept her overnight and when I came to get her the next morning she walked to the car and jumped in. She was sore for a little while but they sent home some pain medicine for me to give her. A week later I even took her back there to have her stitches taken out. They took them out and checked her over for me and didn't even charge me any extra. I took my cat here one evening after a fight. The Vet gave him a shot, but wasn't interested in my pet. He was not animal (or people) friendly. I would use them again only if my pet needed immediate care, and I couldn't get anyone else. more

Five Rivers is an awesome place to take your pets for any emergency. The Dr's and staff are all kind, caring and wonderful people. I recently brought in my Min. Schnauzer and it turned out that she had bladder stones plus one had blocked her urinary tract completely. They did emergency surgery and was able to get the one stone that could have ended her life. She is in full recovery and back to her old puppy-self. If it wasn't for these wonderful folks she would not be with me today. They are Heaven Sent! more
