I had to create an account just so I could let everyone know how impressed I am with the Fitting Gallery. They are amazing, perfection, I don't know what I would have done with out them! I brought them my Vera Wang wedding dress 3 weeks before I needed it for our wedding ceremony. They bent over backwards to perfect every detail needed. I am extremely particular. After over ten years and hundreds of items of clothing, Judy and Phillip have never disappointed me once. Before I found them, I have tried countless alteration places and had been so frustrated with their mediocre of poor work. I never have to worry anymore. It is such peace of mind to be able to buy expensive clothing and know that it will be impeccably tailored. Their technical skill is just amazing. Me and my sister both love Judy and Philip. We both have had our wedding dresses and other clothes to them and they have done an amazing job. There is nothing that they can not fix and make look perfect. I live an hour away and will always make the drive to come see them because they always do an excellent job. I live 30 minutes away from the Fitting Gallery, and am willing to make the drive there to have my clothes fitted professionally. I am finishing my last year of law school, and have to be in the courtroom and at other professional events and situations quite frequently, so I have to have my clothes worked on right. I started coming to the Fitting Gallery because I needed sophisticated and difficult tailoring, which other the other tailor I was using told me was impossible. The Fitting Gallery has delivered. I have given them all kinds of interesting projects, (my latest is having them remove the pleats from a pair of suit pants), and they have have no problem completing them. My other compliment to them is that is is difficult to find evidence of tailoring. I really hate it when the work done on my clothes is obvious, and the Fitting Gallery does a great job of keeping my clothes looking like new. Pros: Excellent attention to detail. I met Judy and Philip through the old Jacabson's Store in Longwood in 1997. I had purchased a St. Johns knit dress with jacket and it need alteration. In the past I had always sent my knits back to St. Johns for alterations. My first thought was these people must be excellent to have a store recommend them to work on St. Johns. Well, the rest is history. They treat every job the same no matter how large or small. I am a petite person and most of my clothes need some kind of alteration. I have never in the past twelve years been disappointed. They take great pride in their work and have the knowledge and skill to make something fit that is a size to large or a bit snug. They have worked on leather, fur, silk and knits for me. Phil and Judy have made me feel like family. They do a very good job. My cousin recently went there to get her wedding dress altered. At first, she was a little bit worried because it's for her wedding and she wanted everything to be perfect.
