This gym does not offer the standard services that most other gyms provide to its memebers at no cost (such as a towel service). Additionally, you cannot use their cycle room during non-class hours like you can at other gyms. So you pay membership fees for things you can't even use.\r \r Probably the worst thing at this gym is their customer service. Their owner is without a doubt one of the rudest, most unprofessional people you will ever meet. Their managers are also not very friendly. There are no formal written policies, yet you can be kicked out of their club for violating ""written procedures."" So if you are on your cell phone and you're not in the lobby area, or you don't use a towel (which you have to provide yourself), or you forget to wipe down some of the equipment after you use it, be prepared to have your membership revoked. I've been a member at a number of gyms, and this one is by far the best. The management really listens to its members' suggestions, keeps all facilites clean and organized, and all of the staff seems really happy to work there! I feel like a real member, as opposed to just another client file in their cabinet, and they have great rates for teachers and students! Thank you for your focus on your members! This gym may be a little pricier than the local chain, but there are many advantages. It is super clean, it has several classes (fitness and spinning) a day, and a steam room/ sauna. I may be paying more than others in Durham, but it is such a nice gym that I have no regrets about the cost. Try the muscle pump and cardio box classes! Pros: Clean, Good selection of classes, Nice Cardio Area Cons: Parking can be difficult, Closes early on Sunday more
