This is a great place to go for me because I love to swim and they have a nice pool here. They even have some slides, but I think those are more for little childrens. But the pool...

This is a great place to go for me because I love to swim and they have a nice pool here. They even have some slides, but I think those are more for little childrens. But the pool is nice and I like the other things they have here too like the fitness center and the track where I can run if I do not feel like going into the pool or during the winter when I can not use the pool. It is a good place if you live in skokie. more

A great park district 8/19/2005

I like this park district a lot. It is really clean and well-kept and has great facilities. One of the real neat things they have is a water park. It is an awesome place to take the kids in the summer. It is not very big, but has a nice pool and a water slide too. Everybody enjoys coming out here in the summer. And in the winter, there's lot of things to do too. They have an indoor pool, a fitness room, a running track, and lots more. and yoou do not have to be a member of the park district to get in. They also let you buy one day passes! So check this out! more

Amazing number of parks, great quality 8/4/2005

There are so many parks in Skokie, and I think this district does a great job. They are always looking nice and they have great grassy areas, playgrounds for kids, and ball parks for those interested in competion. They have an ice skating rink, two pools, and a cultural arts center. Hard to beat, you can find a park a few blocks from most any home in town. Better than anywhere I've ever lived! more
