Not only dirty, but smells, rude staff & owned by scam artists from gym connected? - ? - 2010-03-01 first off, to take your kids to the rest room you have to take them into the gym restroom to use the rest room. they are very dirty. my kids got dirty playing on some of their machines. half of their games didn't work and more than half of the parents including myself didn't let the kids eat the food. second: the gym connected to the place is gross, also 4 years ago my wife signed up for a membership for a 30 day trial. they secured with credit card and she cancelled the membership after 1 visit. they are invasive, stare at the people on the equipment and people that work there don't speak english well enough to understand questions. 18 months later we noticed they were billing her every month, sometimes double billing. she had wamu at the time and they did a fraud check and had to close her account and reopen a new one. she lost over 400.00 from the billing practices for a "CLOSED" account. now three years later after settled by the bank, they have a collection agency calling our house and cell phone up to 6 times a day, example 4 within a 1 hour period this morning called RICKENBACKER from the 408 area code. SCAM WARNING!!!!!!!! more

This is your "Average Joe's" gym as opposed to your "Globo" gym, otherwise known as 24 Hour Fitness. Here, you won't find all the meatheads you are accustomed to seeing, but rather regular families and couples coming out to improve their health. The other establishments can be rather intimidating, with all those big monsters grunting and whatnot. Here, everyone is like family, and you get none of those haters looking down on you. Also, despite the fact that it is an indy gym, the equipment is rather new and clean. The only issue is with the maintenance, as broken machines take literally months to be repaired. I used to work as a trainer here, so I am somewhat biased, but have since parted ways. The rates are actually quite steep compared to other places (I sold my soul and currently pay 4 bucks a month at "Globo"), and the fact that there are only two gyms in the entire chain confines you to a certain area. All in all, I can't complain. I had a great experience there, and met a lot of cool, real people. Just a word of warning... the owners are Indian, so make sure you have your bargaining skills up to snuff. more

I was really surprised to find that this gym had quite a lot to offer. I thought it was going to be small with only a few machines, but much to my delight, there were 3 long rows of cardio machines and numerous TVs to watch while running your heart out. In addition to that, the weight area was huge! I never had to wait for anything and it's really nice because it's not a big corporation, so it's local people with a pleasant, nice and easy atmosphere. more

This gym is amazing. I go there almost everyday and it is absolutely amazing. It may not be as fully loaded as Club Sport but they offer great services. The workers are always very friendly to me. They have these classes such as Tai-chi, yoga, and various types of aerobic dancing classes at no charge. All these services are available for a very low membership fee and for more money, they also provide massages that are outstanding. more
