I've been ordering from FishEx for several years now, but I just placed an order (on 12/18/11) for my sister's 50th birthday. They promised me shipping on 12/27/11 (her birthday). Instead I get a shipping notice today (12/26) saying it will be a day late (12/28). They never called to let me change my dates, even though there was plenty of time. I paid $38 for shipping alone (on a $60 order) and they couldn't get it there on time. I called them today (12/26) and they said they only just found out that FedEx and UPS are closed today. This is a company whose entire business is based on shipping! I called to ask if there was anything that could be done, and they did NOT offer a rebate on shipping, a coupon, or even an apology! Instead, the owner had someone call us back to cancel our order entirely, because he didn't like that we called to complain. After just reading another review about their recent poor quality, I'm glad. We'll be ordering from elsewhere from now on. Too bad, they used to be a great company in all my previous dealings! more

My satisfaction with the first order made way for another. The fish , shrimp and halibut I ordered was not cheap but it was surely fresh, and delicious. Pros: Fresh, quick delivery Cons: expensive! more

Quality of product shipped is not even close to what they show and advertise on their website. They promise Grade A but you are lucky if what they ship you is Grade C or Grade B at the most. Terrible return policy if you are not satisfied. My order of over $1,000.00 was a total loss. Highly NOT remommended! Pros: Fast responsive service before the sale. Cons: Fine to deal with as long as you don't have a complaint after the sale. more
