The food here is so incredible, you will seriously want to applaud those who have prepared it. I love this restaurant! I went to this restaurant with my sister and brother in law and was beyond impressed. The entire staff was a perfect combination of professional and friendly. I love that as a guest in the restaurant, you can view the kitchen from the dining area because the kitchen is IMMACULATE and the kitchen staff are all very well-groomed. The kitchen appeared to be a well oiled machine with good communication. The paella that I ordered was so delicious and authentic. It was perfectly seasoned and the fish and shellfish were incredibly fresh! We had such a wonderful dining experience here, we ordered appetizers, entrées and had some drinks and the entire meal was so well timed. I also liked that the owner took the time to come to our table and ask about our food and service. If you are looking for amazing food and a relaxing upscale dining experience, this is the place to go! more

Best Date Night Restaurant 3/15/2011

This is by far our favorite restaurant in the Fort Mill area. The Fish Market is always first on our list for date night and the place we take all our out of town guests. The menu is full of amazing dishes, including calamari fries, scallops over risotto, and a Chilean sea bass that is to die for! In addition to the food, the ambience is friendly and fancy without being stuffy. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the dishes and very attentive. We like to bring the kids here for Sunday brunch- the shrimp and grits will make your tongue slap your brain! The kids enjoy the breakfast dishes and fresh fruit, and all kids' meals come with a scoop of ice cram for dessert, which is a big hit.\r Selena and Tom are often making the rounds throughout the dining room and will do everything to make sure your dining experience is a pleasant one. Be sure to try this place out! more

The Fish Market is my favorite upscale Fort Mill Restaurant! 3/14/2011

I recently had the opportunity to host a series of Health Talks at the Fish Market. I was very impressed with the customer service I recieved as a small business owner. I chose the Fish Market because the food is delicious and beautiful in its presentation; the waiters and waitresses are friendly and accomodating; the atmosphere is warm, cozy and comfortable and I love the owners. They are professional and hardworking. I was able to focus on my presentations and my guests because the Fish Market took care of the rest. Whether for a business lunch, date night in the bar, dinner with out of town guests, Sunday brunch with family or an afternoon on the beautiful patio with friends, Fish Market at Baxter Village is our GO-TO spot.\r \r The atmosphere is (for us) the perfect balance of upscale and comfortable. From the beautiful waterfall inside the front door, the open kitchen, warm and classy bar to the dining area's elegant tables and big cozy booths, we find Fish Market to be a spot everyone appreciates. \r \r During our visits,we always find the service attentive and the staff friendly and knowledgable . But what about the food?? From starters and soups to sushi and sea bass, the food at Fish Market is exceptional !! Be sure to try them soon.. you won't be disappointed.\r more

The very best! 3/14/2011

Selena and staff are the very best at providing an exceptional dining experience and special event! My husband and friends have had lunch, brunch and dinner at the Fish Market in addition to 3 outstanding events; a bridal shower/luncheon, a surprise luncheon/90th Birthday celebration for my mother-in-law and a Surprise luncheon/Birthday celebration for me! Each time the food, service, and venue was better and better. From the beautiful gardens in bloom in the Spring, to breezes billowing the gazebo chiffon curtains in the Fall, and the waterscapes inside and outside the restaurant...makes for a very memorable picture taking event.
