A smaller congregation in downtown Richmond, MI, it is a very comfortable and family friendly church. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and share talents. There is a ""junior church"" program for school-aged children after a children's message near the beginning of the program.Junior Church held in the basement, and children generally have a small lesson, create a craft and have a snack. There is usually some opportunity for free-play with toys and activities. There is also a small nursery area in the basement with some ""younger toys"". This area is also ideal for quiet time, nursing or diaper changes (though there is a diaper changing station in the bathroom right of off the sanctuary, as well). School-aged children can attend church school before services begin, and there is a youth group that meets Sunday afternoons/evenings. Richmond First United Methodist Church pairs both traditional hymns with more modern Christian music (performed by ""Good Company"") during services. There is a little something for everyone- and everyone is welcome in God's house! Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.
Pros: friendly, comfortable- nice people:)
Cons: parking
