I agree with the last reviewer, not sure which gym the other reviewers were at, but it wasn't Swiss Turners. The recreation classes is where they can assess talent for their competitive teams and based on the success of the competitive teams. State Champions at every level (4-10), Regional Champions at every level (5-10), National Champions at every level (9-10). Only gym in the country to have 2 boys in the top 4 for All-Around at Nationals this year. If your son or daughter is interested in gymnastics, you would be mistaken NOT to have them attend a recreational class at Swiss. Talk to one of the team parents next time you stop in and they will tell you, whether their son or daughter started with Swiss' recreational classes and then became part of the competitive team and if they didn't, how much they wish they did start at Swiss! I am not sure what the first two reviews were about, but I am having a hard time thinking it was Swiss Turners. Both of my sons take classes there, and both have accomplished a great deal there. Self esteem, coordination, and a love for the sport are just a couple of the benefits they have achieved. I would definitely go there over others in the area. more

ASKED WHERE 3 YEAR OLD TEACHER TAUGHT BEFORE. TOLD HER SISTER TAUGHT THERE ONCE AND WAS GOOD. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! CLASS WAS OUT OF CONTROL. SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. STILL DOESNT WASTED MY MONEY. I WONT RISK MY CHILDS LIFE WITH A "TEACHER" WHO ISNT EVEN A PROFESSIONAL. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! HAD ONE CLASS WITH A PROFESSIONAL TEACHER WHO WAS FANTASTIC AND THEN BERATED A PARENT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. THEY MAKE YOU SIGN A RELEASE FORM FOR YOUR CHILD AND THEN HIRE A TEENAGER TO TEACH THEM. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! more

Do not waste your money. Staff new and not experianced. Not worth nearly 15 per 45 minute long class. Send your toddler to M&M gymnastics where they boost their ego as well as teach them discipline. more

Swiss Turners Gymnastics Academy 2214 S 116 Street West Allis WI 53227 414-321-4340 I took my son here for an open gym. WOW! What fun! It's a GREAT place for toddlers to run, jump and play! Swiss Turner is a gym to train gymnasts. They have a billion classes here, everything from basic to advanced gymnastics, to cheerleading tumbling and boy classes. They have programs for adults to toddlers. The facility is huge and can be the PERFECT thing for a child who desires to get into this sport. My son is 2 and fully enjoyed bouncing on the trampolines, climbing the walls and foam shapes, and of course, the foam pit was a HUGE hit! Love this place - but at $5 per child to play in the open gym, it's a place that will be a treat and not a weekly trip. I'm sure the classes are great, but more than what I can personally pay. Still, a load of fun!!!!!!!!!! more
