First Impressions

I live down the street and stopped in recently after a first horrible experience there a few years ago. Once again, I left with my mouth wide open and cursing that I would never go back. This is the most ridiculously overpriced clothing store with the NASTIEST customer service! Other reviewers on other sites say they size you up the moment you walk in, and act like high school girls, even though they're all older and unpleasant. Yes! The clothing is nothing you can't get at Neiman, Nordstroms at a discount, and even better, from on-line retail. Now with fab dot com, rue la-la, etc, it's hard to imagine why anyone would go here unless they like to be subjected to pushy, rude & classless sales people. I even saw a few clothes and jewelry items I recently purchase on-line for much cheaper than here. I had to laugh at the women in the store dropping so much money for garbage, kinda felt bad for them. Trust me, even if you like high-end retail at full price, you won't enjoy this experience. I need a shower, eek! more

They size you up from the minute you walk in the door. Put you in a dressing room where you have no place for your own clothes, except to put them on the floor. Yell over the wall to ask you what your name is. A total classless act. Pushy and obnoxious. They become irritated when you don't buy what they show you. Overpriced, hands on service, but far from the helpful respectful service I want in a upscale women's boutique. I will NEVER step foot in there again and regret my recent purchase. more
