**Sunday Morning Worship**
10:00 a.m.
The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. First Church celebrates open Communion, welcoming all to the Lord's Table.
A coffee hour for all follows the service.
**Christian Education**
Our Christian Education programs invite people of all ages to participate in the ministries and missions of Christian faith. These programs include Sunday church school, learning center events, adult education opportunities, second hour activities (following Sunday worship), youth fellowship and service programs, and confirmation instruction for ninth graders.
**Church School**
Church school is offered Sunday mornings to children ages preschool through grade 8. Child care is available for infants, babies, and toddlers in the Crib and Toddler Rooms.

**Music at First Church**
Three choirs, an experie nced and gifted Director of Music Ministries, a 32-bell carillon, and an Austin organ are among the rich musical resources available to enhance our Sunday morning worship experience at First Church. Additionally, special music is offered by guest musicians and accomplished instrumentalits and vocalists of the congregation.

**Mission at First Church**
First Church is committed to being a church that cares about the world around us and our brothers and sisters in the Greater New Britain community who are less fortunate.
A majority of our mission funds are given to the United Church of Christ's Missionary Society of Connecticut, which disburses these funds to areas in need in the United States and around the world.
