First baptist church is a large church with a big congregation. I thought it would be very impersonal, but my family and i have attended for over 4 years and could not be more happy. Each person feels as if you are a top priority when ever there is a need there always willing people there to help. The childrens programs are wonderful. Your kids are made to feel very loved and welcomed. You feel apart of a family everytime you walk through the doors. Very beautiful and always something going on. more

This is a very large church, that offers something for everyone. They have many programs available for children. They offer choir for children as young as 3 years old. They also offer bible studies for evey age group. They do many community services. They are an imprtant part of the community. They have the friendliest staff and congregation.   • First Baptist Church, established in 1901, promotes its mission through Bible study and worship. The various activities of the church include praise teams, music ensembles, a choir and an orchestra. It has various ministries, which includes music, adult studies, youth and children, student, and sports and recreation ministries. The church organizes Sunday school, nursery care, fellowship meals, prayer meetings, children's choirs and Bible study group. It also undertakes television broadcast of Bible studies and Sunday classes. The church operates a middle school that offers Bible-based studies to students. First Baptist Church is located in Lawton, Okla.
